Long-term welcome for mathematicians from France
The existence of the Franco-Québécois international research laboratory IRL CRM-CNRS enables the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) to assign mathematicians based in France to Quebec (or Ottawa) for a typical duration of six months to one year, through a programme known as “delegation/assignment abroad”.
The process is lengthy and selective: the next call for applications will take place in autumn 2026 for stays between September 2027 and August 2028.
Do not hesitate to encourage your colleagues in France to apply and to inform them that the director of the IRL CRM-CNRS is available to discuss their project: emmanuel.royer@cnrs.fr.
