CRM-ULaval Postdoctoral Fellowships
The CRM-ULaval program is carried out in collaboration with Laval University, one of the CRM’s partner universities. It offers postdoctoral fellows the opportunity to pursue cutting-edge research in a dynamic academic environment recognized for its expertise in fundamental and applied mathematics. Selected candidates actively participate in the scientific life of their host unit while benefiting from the CRM’s extensive network of researchers and organized activities.
The CRM-ULaval Postdoctoral Fellowship is awarded to a promising researcher who has recently earned or is expected to earn a Ph.D. in mathematical sciences or statistics. The fellowship provides an annual stipend of at least $40,000 for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. This stipend may be increased, depending on the host research team. This fellowship allows the recipient to devote most of their time to research under the supervision of a professor at Laval University.
Additional compensation may be available to a fellowship recipient who demonstrates the ability to provide high-quality instruction in French, if the Department has teaching needs that need to be filled.
The selected postdoctoral fellow will participate fully in the department’s research activities and is therefore expected to live and work in Quebec City during the fellowship.

Application Process
Interested candidates must submit an application package including:

- The names of at least two (2) and no more than five (5) individuals familiar with your research who will write a letter of recommendation to support your application
