MAILING LIST

Call for proposals En avant math 2027

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: December 4, 2026

The “En avant Math!” initiative aims to promote the mathematical sciences, improve numeracy among Quebec’s population, and develop and foster young people’s interest in mathematics.

As part of this initiative, the CRM is launching a call for proposals for outreach activities targeting a wide range of audiences, including preschool, elementary and secondary school students, college and university students, as well as the general public. These activities take place in various regions of Quebec, and we hope to receive proposals for projects of different types and scales.

Funding of up to $15,000 may be awarded to support existing programs or activities, as well as new initiatives. Eligible expenses include salaries, travel, supplies, and materials. Please note that funds awarded through this call for proposals cannot be used to finance research projects. A separate call for research proposals in mathematics education will be announced in the coming months.

Results will be announced no later than December 19, 2026.

Successful applicants will be required to submit a final report including a summary of the activities and their impact, as well as a financial report.

Funding for these activities is made possible through a grant from the Quebec Ministry of Finance.
