Call for applications: travel grants to attend MCA 2025
The CRM is happy to support the participation of young researchers CRM affiliated (PhD students or post-docs without research grants) at the Mathematical Congress of the Americas (MCA) 2025.
This event will be held from July 21 to 25, 2025 at the InterContinental Miami Hotel. The goal of the Mathematical Congress of the Americas (MCA) is to highlight in an international framework the excellence of mathematical achievements in the Americas and foster collaborations among researchers, students, institutions, and mathematical societies in the Americas.
A total of 5 grants of CA$500 will be awarded in support of selected researchers’ trip to Miami. Submissions should be sent to nomination@crm.umontreal.ca. Interested researchers should include a CV and a letter of support from their research supervisor.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 1, 2025.
