Grande conférence publique du CRM by Yvan Saint-Aubin on International Day of Mathematics

The conference will be preceded by a wine and cheese reception at 6:30 pm (room 1180 of the André-Aisenstadt Pavilion) accompanied by mathematical explorations, led by students. The public will be invited to test their ability to detect symmetries and to classify symmetry sets on examples of friezes and tilings.
