Iosif Polterovich (Université de Montréal) is a recipient of the 2026 Frontiers of Science Award for the outstanding article Pólya’s conjecture for Euclidean balls, co-authored with Nikolay Filonov, Michael Levitin, and David A. Sher, and published in Inventiones Mathematicae (2023).
