Long-term welcome for mathematicians from France

The existence of the Franco-Québécois international research laboratory IRL CRM-CNRS enables the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) to assign mathematicians based in France to Quebec (or Ottawa) for a typical duration of six months to one year, through a programme known as “delegation/assignment abroad”.

The process is lengthy and selective: the next call for applications will take place in autumn 2026 for stays between September 2027 and August 2028.

Do not hesitate to encourage your colleagues in France to apply and to inform them that the director of the IRL CRM-CNRS is available to discuss their project: emmanuel.royer@cnrs.fr.

Research in pair at the Institut Henri Poincaré

The research in pair program at the Institut Henri Poincaré (IHP), located in the heart of Paris, has been relaunched.
It allows small groups to work on-site at the IHP.
The next deadline is approaching, but the application seems relatively straightforward to prepare. Moreover, the program is recurring, with deadlines on May 15 and October 15 each year.
