2025 CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize: Call for nominations
The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM), the Fields Institute, and the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS) are now accepting nominations for the CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize.
As the premier research prize jointly awarded by three Canadian mathematics institutes, the CRM-Fields-PIMS Prize honours individuals who have made outstanding advancements in mathematical research. The recipient, chosen by a selection committee representing all three institutes, will receive a monetary award and the opportunity to deliver a lecture at each institute within one year of receiving the prize.
The winner’s research should have been conducted primarily in Canada or in affiliation with a Canadian university. The main selection criterion is outstanding contribution to the advancement of research.
The deadline for nominations is November 1, 2024.
Nominations should be submitted by at least two nominators who are leaders in the mathematics community. We particularly encourage nominations of women and of members of underrepresented groups.
