CRM-CNRS International Research Laboratory (IRL)
The creation of the International Research Laboratory (IRL) linking the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the Centre de recherches mathématiques in 2011 (initially as a Unité mixte internationale) has contributed to institutionalize the France-Québec cooperation in mathematical sciences. The agreement was renewed in 2015 and in 2021.
The CRM-CNRS IRL offers research stays in France for CRM scientists and students (see below). In addition, every year, the Institut national des sciences Mathématiques of the CNRS (INSMI) offers a number of opportunities for teachers-researchers and researchers from France to spend a medium or long term stay at the IRL.
