For a respectful and inclusive environment
The CRM is committed to creating a safe environment and to providing an open, inclusive and respectful living, research and working environment. It adheres to the Université de Montréal’s Policy to prevent and combat sexual misconduct and violence and to its frame of reference. Visitors of the CRM and its event participants must be aware of this commitment and their responsibilities and behave respectfully towards others.
What to do if you are being harassed? The Bureau du respect de la personne is the point of contact for anyone affected by harassment, sexual violence, discrimination or racism, and for reporting or filing a complaint.
The University provides its community with security and emergency measures to counter sexual misconduct and violence. Security agents of the Sûreté team from the Direction de la prévention et de la sécurité, are present everywhere on campus and can be reached at 514 343-7771, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Anyone who is a victim, witness or affected by an incident can meet with the Bureau du respect de la personne on a confidential basis, with no statute of limitations. Here are the options available:
