We have secured limited funds from the CRM for junior participants, and from the U.S. National Science Foundation for junior participants based at U.S. institutions who wish to attend the first and last workshops associated with this program. Support is aimed at senior graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty who do not have adequate funding.
To apply for this funding, please send an email to: montrealnumbertheory@gmail.com with the subject line “Funding for [Conference Name]: [Your Name], [US or other]”. For example, “Funding for Arithmetic Statistics: Grothendieck, France.”
In your message, briefly describe your available resources, attach a CV, and—if you are a student or postdoc—ask your advisor to send a separate support letter (≤ 10 lines) outlining your research relevance. The advisor’s email should use the subject line “Letter for [Conference Name]: [Your Name], [US or other]”.
Applications will first be considered on December 15 and occasionally thereafter while funds remain.
