International Research Laboratory (CNRS)
On October 4, 2011, the Université de Montréal and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) signed an agreement to create an International Research Laboratory (IRL) within the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM).
This IRL has the mandate of giving an institutional framework to the constructive France-Québec cooperation in mathematics, and to increase collaboration between mathematicians in France and Quebec.
The Mathematical Research Center receives funding from the Fonds de recherche du Québec.
