France-Québec research stay program
The CRM’s France–Québec Mobility Program aims to foster and strengthen scientific collaborations between researchers based in Québec and in France.
The program is open to CRM members, CNRS-affiliated researchers, graduate students supervised by these researchers, as well as postdoctoral fellows.
Program Benefits
- Short or medium-term research visits;
- Research internships for graduate students;
- Participation in scientific events held in France;
- Visits by researchers or students from France to the CRM.
Application Process
- A project description (2–3 pages, PDF format) including:
- Scientific objectives;
- Collaborators involved;
- Amount of financial support requested;
- Other sources of funding, if applicable;
- An indication if the applicant is enrolled in a cotutelle program.
- A complete and up-to-date curriculum vitae;
- A letter of support from a regular CRM member (if the applicant is not a regular member)
- Students and postdoctoral fellows must provide proof of enrollment at a Quebec university.

Evaluation and Deadlines
Applications are reviewed four times per year:
- January 10
- April
- July 1
- October 1
Applications are reviewed by a CRM committee according to the following criteria:
- Relevance of the project to the CRM’s research areas and its affiliated laboratories;
- Quality and potential impact of the proposed scientific collaboration;
- Excellence of the applicant’s academic record and the proposed project.
Conditions générales
- Projects must begin between two and nine months following the application deadline;
- The duration of the stay may vary depending on the nature of the activity.
