Pierre-Antoine Bernard receives the 2026 ACES-ProQuest Distinguished Thesis Award
The CRM warmly congratulates Pierre-Antoine Bernard, winner of the 2026 ACES-ProQuest Thesis Award with Distinction, which recognizes the excellence of his work.
His thesis, praised for its exceptional quality, focuses on the development of theoretical and algorithmic methods in quantum computing.
A graduate in mathematical physics from the University of Montreal, he has a special connection with the CRM, having been a student under the supervision of Luc Vinet and a fellow in his Mathematical Physics Laboratory.
He is currently continuing his research as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Quantum Information and Control at the University of Toronto.
