2023 Krieger-Nelson Prize is awarded to Johanna G. Nešlehová
Congratulations to Johanna G. Nešlehová (CRM and StatLab member) who has been awarded the 2023 Krieger-Nelson Prize of the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS). The prize recognizes her exceptional contributions to statistics, including multivariate analysis, stochastic dependence modeling, and extreme-value theory.
The Krieger-Nelson Prize was first awarded in 1995 in recognition of outstanding contributions in the area of mathematical research by a female mathematician.
