CRM STATLAB – CANSSI Postdoctoral Fellowship 2024-2025

The Statistics Laboratory (StatLab) of the Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) and the Canadian Statistical Sciences Institute (CANSSI) are inviting applications for a postdoctoral fellowship in statistics.

CRM STATLAB – CANSSI Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to candidates working under the supervision of at least one member of the CRM StatLab. They must have obtained their PhD within the last three years and completed their PhD before the start of the fellowship. Candidates graduating from institutions outside Quebec are given preference. A minimum salary of $53,000 will be offered for a period of one year, starting any time between April 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024.

Candidates must submit:

• A presentation letter including a description of research interests and research program
• A CV
• Electronic copies of research articles, theses, etc.
• Two letters of recommendation

The principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion will be upheld throughout the recruitment process, evaluation, and the duration of the scholarship, with the involvement of supervisors and the scholar in EDI events organized by CANSSI or CRM.

Deadline for submission of applications: January 31, 2024 (results expected by mid-March 2024)

Start of the fellowship: between April 1, 2024, and October 31, 2024
