Mirzakhani is the first woman Fields Medalist and her birthday, May 12, was chosen to be International Women in Mathematics Day.<\/p>\n<p>A panel discussion will follow the film. The panel will consist of several women mathematicians \/ statisticians of different backgrounds and at different levels of their careers (professor, postdoc, student) who will share their stories with the audience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>LB-125, J.-A.
