He earned his Ph.D. in mathematics from the City University of New York (CUNY) in 2015, after completing his bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degrees at Laval University. Before joining the University of Montreal in 2021, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto and served as an assistant professor at the University of Glasgow. His research, which falls within the fields of geometry and analysis, has received international recognition.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Fortier Bourque is distinguished by his commitment to the mathematical community. In particular, he serves as an editor for the journal Conformal Geometry and Dynamics and actively participates in organizing various scientific events.<\/p>\n<p>He possesses the scientific expertise, leadership, and vision necessary to successfully fulfill this role and to fully contribute to the CRM\u2019s reputation.
