He is particularly known for introducing <em>Stark\u2011Heegner points<\/em> and for developing real quadratic analogues of singular moduli, extending ideas from complex multiplication to new and influential settings.<\/p>\n<p>The author of more than 90 highly cited research papers, Henri\u00a0Darmon has left a lasting imprint on mathematical research in Canada and worldwide.
