Recognized by the Association for Computing Machinery, they are honored for their foundational contributions to quantum computing and secure cryptography.<\/p>\n<p>A pioneer of the BB84 protocol, Brassard revolutionized the way information can be transmitted with absolute security, paving the way for technologies that now lie at the heart of a rapidly growing industry.<\/p>\n<p>The ACM highlights the visionary nature of their work, which has transformed our understanding of information.<\/p>\n<p>Already a recipient of the Breakthrough Prize and the Wolf Prize, Brassard reaches the pinnacle of international recognition with the Turing Award.
