The Director will work to secure and grow funding for the Centre, maintain excellent relationships with federal and provincial government departments and agencies, and apply for grants at several levels. The designated person will also be co-director of the IRL-CRM-CNRS.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, the Director will be the person responsible for the strategic development and administration of the CRM, which includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Conduct and support of mathematical science research;<\/li>\n<li>Creating partnerships with industry and governments;<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing communication activities to promote the CRM and mathematical sciences to different communities;<\/li>\n<li>Developing its network of collaborations in Canada and internationally.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Nominations should be sent to <strong>Chantale Simard<\/strong> <em>(<a href=\"mailto:chantale.simard@umontreal.ca\">chantale.simard@umontreal.ca<\/a>)<\/em>, Secretary of the Selection Committee, by <strong>May 22, 2024, 5:00 p.m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The selection committee is chaired by Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Bouchard <em>(Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al)<\/em> and is composed of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sylvie Benzoni-Gavage <em>(Universit\u00e9 Claude Bernard Lyon 1)<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>Steven Boyer <em>(Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al)<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>Henri Darmon <em>(McGill University)<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>Marl\u00e8ne Frigon <em>(Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al)<\/em>;<\/li>\n<li>Catherine Sulem <em>(University of Toronto)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Successful candidates will be invited to present their program statement to the regular members of the CRM at the General Assembly scheduled for late August 2024.
