The CRM-ISM-AMQ Prize<\/h1>\n

The CRM-ISM-AMQ prize is awarded annually for an\u00a0outstanding publication in the\u00a0Annales Math\u00e9matiques du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>\u00a0(AMQ). The\u00a0 prize was created in collaboration between the\u00a0Centre de recherches math\u00e9matiques, the Institut des sciences math\u00e9matiques\u00a0and the AMQ.<\/p>\n

Annales math\u00e9matiques du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em><\/h3>\n

The goal of the Annales math\u00e9matiques du Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> (<\/em>formerly: Annales des sciences math\u00e9matiques du Qu\u00e9bec)<\/em> is to be a high level journal publishing articles in all areas of pure mathematics, and sometimes in related fields such as applied mathematics, mathematical physics and computer science.<\/p>\n

Papers written in French or English may be submitted via the journal’s webpage<\/a>, and each published paper will appear with a short abstract in both languages.<\/p>\n

History<\/strong><\/p>\n

The journal was founded in 1977 as Annales des sciences math\u00e9matiques du Qu\u00e9bec.<\/em> In 2013 it became a Springer journal under the name of Annales math\u00e9matiques du Qu\u00e9bec<\/em>. From 1977 to 2018, the editors-in-chief have respectively been S. Dubuc, R. Cl\u00e9roux, G. Labelle, I. Assem, C. Levesque, D. Jakobson, O. Cornea. The current editor-in-chief is Iosif Polterovich.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

<\/i><\/i><\/span>Awarding Rules<\/span><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

The prize is awarded at the end of each calendar year. To be eligible, the paper must be published in the AMQ during that or the previous year. The winning paper is selected by the Editorial Board; no nominations are required.<\/p>\n

The monetary value of the prize is CAD $1000.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

2025 : Mikhail Karpukhin (University College London) et Jean Lagac\u00e9 (King\u2019s College London) for their article Flexibility of Steklov eigenvalues via boundary homogenisation.<\/a><\/p>\n

2024 <\/i>: The prize was awarded to the article Isometries of CAT(0) cube complexes are semi-simple<\/a> by Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Haglund (declined by the author).<\/p>\n

2023 : <\/em>Ashay Burungale, Francesc Castella, Christopher Skinner and Ye Tian for their article p\u221e-<\/span>Selmer<\/span> groups<\/span> and<\/span> rational<\/span> points<\/span> on<\/span> CM<\/span> elliptic<\/span> curve.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

2022: <\/em>Semyon Dyatlov for his article Around quantum ergodicity<\/a>.
