Distinguished Lecture Series<\/h1>\n

Each year, the CRM invites eminent mathematicians to give lectures in specific areas of the mathematical sciences.<\/p>\n

Aisenstadt Chair<\/h3>\n

The Aisenstadt Chair<\/a> allows us to host in each thematic program highly renowned mathematicians for a stay ranging from one week to one semester. The Aisenstadt Chairholders give a series of lectures on a topic determined for its interest and impact within the thematic program, the first of which, at the request of the donor Andr\u00e9 Aisenstadt<\/span>, must be accessible to a large audience. They are also invited to write a monograph in the CRM Monographs series distributed by the American Mathematical Society<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

CRM Nirenberg Lectures in Geometric Analysis<\/h3>\n

The Nirenberg Lecture Series<\/a> is named after Louis Nirenberg, one of the most prominent scholars in geometric analysis of our time.<\/p>\n

CRM Distinguished Lectures in Applied Mathematics<\/h3>\n

This lecture series<\/a> will be held in the spring and will bring to the CRM up to two speakers per year. The lectures will be devoted to a different theme each year.<\/p>\n

CRM Distinguished Lectures in Mathematical Physics<\/h3>\n

This lecture series<\/a> was made possible by the generous contribution of Mrs. Tatiana Patera to the Jiri Patera and Pavel Winternitz Fund.<\/p>\n<\/div>
