Delivered in either French or English by scientists who are experienced in public speaking, the CRM\u2019s Grandes conf\u00e9rences publiques<\/em> are intended for a wide audience, curious to understand the most striking recent developments in the mathematical sciences. From quantum cryptography and computing to chaos in weather and financial systems, brain imaging and biotechnology revolutions, the lectures have in common that they seek to reveal the beauty and power of cutting-edge mathematical research in a language accessible to all.<\/p>\n
