They allow selected candidates to carry out research under the supervision of a postdoctoral fellow, a doctoral student or an assistant professor affiliated with one of the ISM member universities.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-3\"><h3>Program Benefits<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>a research internship of 2 to 4 months ;<\/li>\n<li>a scholarship of $2,000 per month for the duration of the internship, half of which is provided by the CRM and the ISM and the other half by the supervisor\u2019s research funds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><h3>Application Process<\/h3>\n<p>The deadline for submitting an application is March 12, 2027. Applications must be submitted electronically to <a href=\"mailto:ism@uqam.ca\">ism@uqam.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The following documents must be included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A description of the research project with a calendar indicating how and when the work will be carried out. The duration of the scholarship must be clearly specified on the application.<\/li>\n<li>Contact information (affiliation and email) of all concerned parties.<\/li>\n<li>University transcripts.<\/li>\n<li>A letter of recommendation (sent separately) from the proposed supervisor or the sponsoring professor attesting to the ability of the candidate to carry out the research project.<\/li>\n<li>A financial commitment from the sponsoring professor to provide the matching funds.<\/li>\n<li>A second letter of recommendation (optional but recommended).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note
