At the same time classical and central to modern mathematics, analysis involves the study of continuous systems, from dynamical systems to solutions of partial differential equations and spectra of operators. The Laboratory is composed of about 30 regular members and several associate members working at 6 different universities in Quebec. The members of the Laboratory work in the following areas: harmonic analysis, complex analysis, several complex variables, potential theory, functional analysis, Banach algebras, microlocal analysis, analysis on manifolds, nonsmooth analysis, spectral theory, partial differential equations, geometric analysis, ergodic theory and dynamical systems, control theory, mathematical physics, applied mathematics, probability, nonlinear analysis, nonlinear differential equations, topological methods in differential equations, fluid dynamics, and turbulence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
