Please treat all participants with courtesy and avoid any exclusionary\u00a0behaviour\u00a0or language based\u00a0on\u00a0race\/ethnicity, gender (binary, assigned, or otherwise), disability, physical or mental health, sexual orientation, religion or belief, politics and nationality, parental, pregnancy or relationship status, level\u00a0of\u00a0education, or age. This includes jokes \u2014 even if made \u201cironically.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harassment is not acceptable. While mathematics is\u00a0the\u00a0main focus\u00a0of\u00a0our time together, respectful conversations\u00a0on\u00a0other topics, including\u00a0the\u00a0latest politics \u2014 even those that are contentious \u2014 are welcome if they are\u00a0conducted\u00a0in\u00a0a way that ensures no one feels excluded, intimidated, or belittled\u00a0for\u00a0their views.<\/p>\n<p>Aggression, elitism, or belittling\u00a0behaviour\u00a0have no place at our activities<\/p>\n<p>Some social events may take place\u00a0in\u00a0venues serving alcohol, but there is no expectation or pressure to drink. Please don\u2019t question anyone\u2019s choice\u00a0of\u00a0beverage.<\/p>\n<p>If you take photographs, videos, or other recordings, get consent\u00a0from\u00a0everyone featured before capturing them and again before sharing them.<\/p>\n<p>Participants are asked to respect these guidelines.
